She expressed that she had become “very, very protective” of her character, Wednesday Addams, and even admitted to changing lines on her own. She confessed that her behavior may have come across as “almost unprofessional” due to how strongly she felt about the character.
Following her remarks, some controversy arose, leading to widespread discussion about whether her comments reflected a deeper issue with the show’s writing.
