The Monday-Tuesday drama lineup has a new contender, as ENA’s The Midnight Studio made its premiere with an impressive 2.1% nationwide viewership rating, according to Nielsen Korea.
Photo Studio for the Deceased
According to Soompi, The Midnight Studio presents an intriguing premise, revolving around a professional photo studio that exists solely for the deceased. Joo Won takes on the lead role of Seo Ki Joo, the prickly photographer who runs the studio, while Kwon Nara plays Han Bom, a passionate lawyer who offers legal advice to the ghosts visiting the studio.
As per the show’s synopsis, “The series tells the story of a prickly photographer who runs a photo studio that exists only for the deceased, and a passionate lawyer.”

Wedding Impossible Maintains a Steady Viewership
In the same ratings race, tvN’s Wedding Impossible continues to hold its ground, achieving an average nationwide rating of 3.7% for its latest episode. This marks a slight dip of 0.3% from the previous episode’s 4.0% rating.
The Midnight Studio is an original drama from Genie TV and is available for streaming on its platform and Viki in selected regions. Additionally, the series premiered on ENA on March 11, 2024, and airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM (KST).
