Anthony Mackie’s Favorite Marvel Hero
In a recent interview with Deadline, Anthony Mackie revealed that while he is thrilled to carry on the legacy of Captain America, his personal favorite Marvel hero is the Incredible Hulk. Mackie shared his admiration for the character, saying,
“My favorite character of all time is the Incredible Hulk. I’ve always been a Hulk fan. When I was a kid, I used to watch the TV shows. I just always loved the Hulk.”
Mackie’s fondness for the Hulk stems from childhood, where the character’s unique blend of raw power and humanity captivated him. He also humorously questioned the Hulk’s transformation, noting,
“I always wondered, ‘How come everything came off except the pants?’ Everything – his shirt, his shoes – came off, but his pants stayed. I always thought that was weird.”
While fans may wonder if Mackie’s Captain America will share the screen with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in the upcoming Brave New World, reports suggest that Ruffalo’s character will not appear. The Hulk’s last MCU appearance was in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, with his last big-screen role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
