‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Marks Cox’s Third MCU Appearance
‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ marks Cox’s third appearance as the Marvel antihero, following his cameos in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘ and ‘Echo.’ The upcoming Disney+ series is a spiritual successor to Netflix’s ‘Daredevil‘ series, which ran for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. Alongside Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as the formidable Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, while other familiar faces from the Netflix series, including Deborah Ann Woll, Jon Bernthal, and Elden Henson, are set to return.
Cox admitted that ‘Born Again’ is a “physically demanding show,” confirming that he underwent shoulder surgery during last year’s Hollywood strikes to prepare for the role. Despite the challenges, Cox’s co-star D’Onofrio praised his performance, claiming that the upcoming teaser would showcase Cox’s exceptional portrayal of Daredevil.
