The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 season kicks off with the first global tournament, Masters Madrid, set to take place in Spain from March 14 to 24. This prestigious event will see the top 8 teams from across the globe compete for the coveted title of Masters Madrid Champion.

As Per Valorant, Masters Madrid will be split into two parts – the all-new Swiss Stage and the Bracket Stage. The Swiss Stage, running from March 14 to 18, will feature teams battling it out in a best-of-three format, with each team needing to secure two victories before accumulating two losses across a maximum of three rounds to advance.

 

After the Swiss Stage, the top four teams will progress to the double-elimination Bracket Stage, which kicks off on March 21. A random draw will pair the competitors, and the intense competition will culminate in a best-of-five series in the Lower and Grand Finals on March 24.

The road to Masters Madrid began with Kickoff Tournaments across the four International Leagues – VCT Americas, VCT CN, VCT EMEA, and VCT Pacific. The top two teams from each region have earned their spots in the global showdown:

 

VCT Americas: LOUD, Sentinels

VCT Pacific: Paper Rex, Gen.G

VCT EMEA: Team Heretics, Karmine Corp

VCT CN: FunPlus Phoenix, EDward Gaming

 

According to the official schedule, the first round of the Swiss Stage will feature matchups between the winners and runners-up of the Kickoff Tournaments, ensuring an intense start to the competition.
