One of these weapons, an electric rod, bears a striking resemblance to the stun baton featured in the franchise’s first installment, ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes.’
The iconic ‘Rise’ scene depicts Caesar, the first ape with enhanced intelligence, being confronted by a worker wielding an electric baton. In a pivotal moment, Caesar grabs the baton and defiantly utters “No!” – revealing his ability to speak and setting the stage for the ape uprising.

Echoing Proximus Caesar’s Ruthlessness Towards Humans
While Caesar’s encounter with the baton was accidental, the trailer for ‘Kingdom’ shows Proximus Caesar’s apes wielding these electric rods with deliberate malice toward humans.
