Fans of the highly anticipated drama Queen of Tears have been treated to a sneak peek of the reunion between actors Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se, who previously worked together on the hit series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.

According to Pinkvilla, in the newly released stills, Kim Soo Hyun’s character, Baek Hyun Woo, is seen seeking professional help from Oh Jung Se’s psychiatrist, concealing his identity with a hood and sunglasses. As per the show’s premise, “Baek Hyun Woo, fearful of being recognized while seeking psychiatric help, cautiously conceals his identity with a hood and sunglasses as he visits the doctor’s office.”
As the session progresses, Baek Hyun Woo gradually opens up, revealing his sorrow as the son-in-law of a powerful chaebol family. Meanwhile, Oh Jung Se’s character attentively listens to the distressed man’s grievances, leaving viewers intrigued about the hidden struggles of someone who seemingly enjoys an enviable life as the spouse of a chaebol heiress.

In Queen of Tears, penned by the acclaimed writer Park Ji Eun, Kim Soo Hyun takes on the role of Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of the conglomerate Queens Group, while Kim Ji Won portrays his wife, Hong Hae In, the heiress of Queens Group’s department stores, renowned as the “queen” of the conglomerate.
The series promises to explore the remarkable love story of this married couple as they navigate adversity, crises, and the pursuit of survival and resilience, all while weaving in elements of miracles, thrills, and humor.
