On March 16, respected games industry leaker Kurakasis revealed via X (formerly Twitter) that Skydance’s secret Marvel project will seemingly be titled ‘Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra’. The name is an unorthodox one for a Marvel game, forgoing any obvious connection to the heroes involved.

Uncharted’s Amy Hennig Directing the Superhero Action-Adventure
As per DotEsports, According to previous details from Skydance, the game is set during World War II and will feature both an unfrozen Captain America and the Black Panther of that era. The dual open-world locations of Nazi-occupied Paris and Wakanda are expected to provide a stark narrative contrast.
Lending considerable credibility, the project is being helmed by none other than Amy Hennig – the acclaimed writer and director behind the first three beloved Uncharted games at Naughty Dog.
