According to The Wrap, the action fantasy film starring the ‘Stranger Things’ actress debuted at the top of the English films list, becoming the most-viewed title of the week. ‘Damsel’, which also features Robin Wright and Angela Bassett, reached the coveted No. 1 spot in 79 countries and secured a place in the Top 10 in 93 others.

Johan Renck’s drama Spaceman, starring Adam Sandler and Carey Mulligan, held onto the No. 3 position with 10.8 million views, and Tyler Perry’s steamy thriller Mea Culpa, featuring Kelly Rowland, ranked No. 5 with 5.1 million views.

On the English TV side, Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of his own film, The Gentlemen, starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, made a strong debut, topping the list with 12.2 million views.
