According to a report from German publication Games Wirtschaft and a followup from VGC, a Nintendo spokesperson has confirmed that the company has decided against attending Gamescom 2024, which is set to take place from August 21st to 25th in Cologne, Germany. The spokesperson stated that while Gamescom is a “central event” for Nintendo, the company has carefully considered its decision to skip the event this year.
