Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore proved to be a humid affair, leading to a relatable hair dilemma for the pop superstar. However, her fans’ unwavering energy and support outshined any potential hair woes.
The Humidity Strikes Back
According to People, during her second show at the National Stadium in Kallang on Sunday, Swift addressed the 55,000-strong crowd, playfully acknowledging the effect the Singapore humidity was having on her iconic locks. As shared in a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter),

“As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here. I’m not complaining, I like it.”
Swift then went on to commend her dedicated fans, saying, “But, I do want to commend you because it’s very humid and you guys have just turned it up 100% all night. You’ve been dancing, you’ve been standing and taking pictures all night. And you look so cute, why am I sweating so much? Then I’m looking at you, you all look perfect.”
Taylor Swift Gives A Surprising Album Announcement
Amid the humidity-fueled banter, Swift had a special surprise in store for her Swifties. While seated at her piano, the “Bad Blood” singer revealed the fourth and final version of her upcoming 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” set for release on April 19.
According to an Instagram post by Swift, the bonus track for this edition is titled “The Black Dog.” She also shared previously unseen artwork of herself running her hands through her hair, accompanied by a second image of the album’s track listing featuring the words “Old habits die screaming.”

This latest announcement follows Swift’s previous reveals of the album’s special editions. The third version, featuring the bonus track “The Albatross,” was unveiled during her Sydney show on February 23, while the second edition, with the bonus track “The Bolter,” was announced in Melbourne on February 16.
Swift first announced the highly anticipated album during her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Midnights” at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4. The first version features a bonus track called “The Manuscript.”
