Pop superstar Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, was recently accused of assaulting a photographer after her final Sydney concert. Now Swift’s team has responded, claiming Scott reacted because “two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor.” Per reports, the alleged incident occurred around 2:30 AM after Swift’s last show in Australia on her global stadium tour. Scott Swift, 71, supposedly got into an altercation with a 51-year-old photographer near Sydney’s Neutral Bay Wharf.
Taylor Swift’s Team Responds to Father’s Alleged Assault of Photographer
While police have not confirmed Scott’s involvement, they stated a 71-year-old man assaulted a 51-year-old man at the Wharf. The younger man reportedly did not require medical assistance but filed a complaint.
A video published by TMZ shows a man resembling Scott arguing with a photographer trying to snap photos of Swift. Another member of Swift’s team attempts to block the shots before the men exchange heated words.

Taylor Swift’s Team Claims Photographer and Companion Were “Aggressive”
As per India Today, responding to the accusations, a Taylor Swift spokesperson said:
“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.”
They allege Scott reacted because the photographer and another person tried lunging towards Swift in a confrontational manner, also accosting her security team.
The global pop phenom was recently in Australia for a series of sold-out shows in Sydney on her high-grossing Eras Tour. She capped off her Aussie run with an epic concert on February 26th attended by celebrities like Katy Perry.
