Developed by Saber Interactive, it’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though the release date remains under wraps.
Turok Origins Introduces New Gameplay Elements
Turok: Origins takes a significant departure from its predecessors, shifting from a first-person to an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective. This change opens new gameplay possibilities, allowing players to experience dynamic combat against dinosaurs and alien threats.
The game supports co-op multiplayer for up to three players, enabling teams of Turok warriors to explore semi-open environments and tackle missions together. Players will use advanced weaponry like plasma rifles, bows, and melee weapons to face a variety of enemies, from ferocious dinosaurs to an alien force threatening humanity’s existence.
One of the standout features is the biomorphic suit, which lets players absorb DNA from defeated foes. This DNA can be used to enhance abilities and upgrade weapons, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay. The environments include interconnected planets accessed through portals, encouraging exploration and discovery.
