According to Soompi, JTBC’s upcoming romantic comedy Frankly Speaking promises a unique and entertaining premise. The newly released main poster teases the intriguing dynamic between the two lead characters, played by Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na.

In Frankly Speaking, Go Kyung Pyo portrays Song Ki Baek, a news anchor who has worked hard to maintain a clean image. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he is electrocuted in an accident, leading him to develop a strange condition that prevents him from lying or saying anything he doesn’t truly mean.

Kang Han Na plays On Woo Ju, a passionate variety show writer willing to go to great lengths for entertainment. On Woo Ju recognizes the potential in Song Ki Baek’s newfound inability to lie, setting the stage for their lives to become entangled in unexpected ways.

The main poster captures the beginning of Song Ki Baek and On Woo Ju’s story. On Woo Ju is beaming as she catches Song Ki Baek by his tie, dragging him around and hinting at the fun dynamic to come. Meanwhile, the once neatly dressed Song Ki Baek is now disheveled, with rumpled hair and a post-it note covering his mouth in a desperate attempt to stop himself from speaking the unfiltered truth.
