The Witcher Star Freya Allan “Excited” for Liam Hemsworth as Geralt
In a recent interview with Collider, Freya Allan, who plays Ciri in the series, addressed Hemsworth stepping in as Geralt for Season 4. While acknowledging the challenges Hemsworth faces in filling Cavill’s shoes, Allan expressed her excitement to see what the actor brings to the role.
“I’m really excited to see what he does. And he’s such a lovely guy. I just hope that people give him the time of day, you know?” Allan said, empathizing with the difficult position Hemsworth is in and the potential backlash from fans.

Ciri and Geralt’s Separate Journeys in The Witcher Season 4
Allan also suggested that her character Ciri and Hemsworth’s Geralt might not share much screen time in the upcoming season, as their storylines are going in separate directions.
“Our characters, all the storylines are going their separate ways this season. So it’s very much my own journey,” she explained.
Hemsworth will have two seasons to portray the role of Geralt, as Netflix has already renewed The Witcher for a fifth and final season. The fourth season will also introduce several new cast members, including veteran actor Laurence Fishburne as Regis, Danny Woodburn, Sharlto Copley, and James Purefoy.
