Zoe Saldaña Praises Guardians’ Popularity and Gunn’s Writing
According to Gamesradar, In an interview with The Playlist‘s The Discourse podcast, Saldaña expressed her desire for the Guardians to make a comeback.
“I would think it would be a huge loss for Marvel if they didn’t find a way to bring back The Guardians of the Galaxy,”
she said.
“It’s just such a fan-favorite group of misfits, you know? And then at the helm, they had a voice like James Gunn’s writing – which is just so marvelous for and very specific for this genre.”

Gamora’s Future Uncertain, but Character May Continue
While Saldaña acknowledged that her version of Gamora seems to be gone for good after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, she believes the character herself may still have a future.
“I mean, so far, I think that she is [gone for good] for me, but I don’t think Gamora has gone for good,”
the actress stated.

Guardians Characters Could Appear in Avengers Films
With the upcoming Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars films on the horizon, there’s a possibility that some Guardians characters could make an appearance, though nothing has been confirmed by Marvel as of yet. Additionally, the introduction of the Multiverse opens up countless possibilities for the beloved team’s return.
